Quality

The production technology, developed by MAGYARMET, has been approved by TÜV Rheinland acc. to DGR 97/23/EC, and the extensive quality assurance system of the company is certified acc. ISO 9001.

Regarding dimensional tolerances, surface roughness and machining allowance MAGYARMET applies the P 690 guidelines released by the German Association of Casting Industry (BDG) in 2010. The guideline (BDG Reference Sheet P 690: Investment castings – Dimensional tolerances, surface condition, machining allowance) is a Europe-wide recognized standard.

Data for iron-, nickel-, cobalt- and copper-based alloys.
The tolerance band to be applied is as follows:

D1 – generally applies to free dimensions

D2 – applies to functional dimensions

D3 – applies only to very precise functional dimensions to be agreed with the investment foundry
